DNAPL – Solvent Contaminated Sites

AcuityES professionals are accomplished industry leaders relative to remediation technology and field implementation methods for dense non-aqueous phase liquids (DNAPL), with an emphasis on chlorinated hydrocarbons. The use of either in–situ chemical oxidation or enhanced reductive dechlorination has allowed AcuityES staff to rapidly approach Site closure requirements while remaining sensitive to the cost of the remedy. AcuityES has also incorporated the use of specifically selected microbial cultures to further expedite remedies to closure.  In addition to the use of recognized advances in bioremediation technologies, AcuityES is also current with mechanical removal systems (soil vapor extraction and total fluids recovery) as well as in–situ thermal solutions.
