LNAPL – Petroleum Contaminated Sites

AcuityES professionals have completed remediation of light non-aqueous phase liquids (LNAPL), such as petroleum based projects in Indiana. Under the purview of  the Leaking Underground Storage Tank Program and the Voluntary Remediation Program. Our approach to remediation is to focus on the source area, then develop either a natural bioremediation strategy with appropriate monitoring, or develop an aggressive remedy involving the injection of reagents that enhance in situ bioremediation. AcuityES professionals routinely attend national bioremediation conferences to allow our staff to stay current with new approaches to remedy, and to stay current with new reagents and mechanisms to increase Site closure efficiencies. Due to our knowledge and experience, AcuityES is called upon by other consulting firms to accelerate their own Site closures where other technologies have been proven too slow, or incomplete.
