Heavy Metals Sites

Several of  AcuityES’s project Sites have been negatively impacted by regulated heavy metals.  Many of these Sites fall under the requirements of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). AcuityES professionals have completed: RCRA Facility Investigations (RFI); treatability assessments; on- Site pilot studies; corrective measure studies (CMS); and full-scale corrective remedies. AcuityES has also developed and implemented heavy metal treatment remedies under the Indiana Voluntary Remediation Program (VRP). AcuityES has developed project teams that include nationally recognized experts to develop unique remedies to address specific Site conditions. Our approach to remediation most often focuses on developing specialized reagents for soil mixing and injection into the groundwater to achieve Site closure objectives (in-situ chemical treatments).
